Sandy La Chinese Restaurant

Sandy La - Restaurant FrontRestaurant: Sandy La Chinese Restaurant
Cuisine: Chinese
Address: 5257 Victoria Dr, Vancouver, BC V5P 3V4
Summary: Sandy La is a Chinese seafood restaurant that looks outdated and ghetto from the outside, but serves delicious, quality Chinese food. It is dinner only but opens late until 3am, so it is the perfect place to go for late night eating and drinking. I have ate here a few times and will continue coming back to eat.

Locus Restaurant & Lounge

Restaurant Review: Locus Restaurant & Lounge
Cuisine: Fusion
Address: 4121 Main Street, Vancouver, BC V5V 3P6
Summary: Locus has a cozy, casual and trendy vibe with interesting decor and nice ambience. It specializes in fusion food, but the overpriced food was not that great nor the red wine that we got. At least the cocktails were yummy. I wouldn’t come here again to eat, but just to chill and drink.

Legend House

Restaurant Review: Legend House
Cuisine: Chinese
Address: 1169 Pacific St, Coquitlam, BC V3B 0J3
Summary: Legend House specializes in Northern and Szechuan Chinese cuisine and is known for its hand-pulled noodles and Xiao Long Bao steamed dumplings. The food was cheap with large portions, but just average-tasting. Not the best Chinese food in Greater Vancouver, but for the price and quantity, I would eat here again if I was in the Coquitlam area.

Summary: Hanugin Mongolian BBQ teaches you how to Mongo. The food is good and the taste depends on your mix of ingredients. It offers good value for the portion and price, and it seems to be one of the only Mongolian BBQ places on the North Shore, but I will not be eating here anytime soon. The Beginning of this Food Blog

profile pictureHello. My name is Ashley and I love to eat. Everyone who knows me knows that I love food because I am the happiest whenever I am eating. I am based in the beautiful city of Vancouver, Canada where I have lived for most of my life, and I have to say that Vancouver is probably one of the cities with the best food in the world.

I have always wanted to start a food blog, as I am passionate about eating, so here I am today with Thing Called Food.

Thing Called Food will be about the many adventures of my love for food. I will be blogging about restaurants and dishes that I think everyone should try (or not try) and sharing information about the different types of cuisine that the world has to offer, whether in my hometown or wherever I go. Good food makes me happy, and I want to share good food with you! ♥

So, welcome to Thing Called Food. I hope you will enjoy my upcoming posts. Feel free to leave comments to let me know your thoughts or even any good food that you think I should try. You can also follow my Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest.
